About Fascia First Coaching
It started with my own body.
I played college football, and by the time it was over, my body and mind had already taken a beating. I was dealing with the effects of repeated concussions, physical pain, and things I didn’t yet know how to process emotionally. Painkillers helped me keep going, but I didn’t have many real answers for what I was experiencing.

My Story
The long way back.
For a while, I stepped away from training entirely. I spent a year working with dogs: daycare, boarding, and long off-leash hikes near the Pacific coast. Being outside, alone with animals, brought some peace back to my mind and heart. My body, though, was still paying the price.
Eventually I got off the painkillers and started educating myself. I became a personal trainer and found Applied Functional Neurology through Z-Health. For the first time, I started seeing meaningful changes in myself and in the people I worked with.
That path grew into leadership, coaching coaches, and helping build a fitness business. I became a GM and head coach while still training six or more sessions a day. I loved the work, but I was pushing hard again, and eventually my body started asking for something different.
Then came the California fires, COVID, and another concussion in May 2023. Shortly afterward, I left San Francisco for Argentina intending to finally slow down and heal.
Instead, I got dengue fever.
Four days of an almost incoherent fever and unbearable pain stopped everything. I lost 15 pounds and fell into a deep depression. I could barely think clearly, feel like myself, or digest food. It felt like everything I had learned and everything that had worked before suddenly wasn’t enough.
When I returned to the States and landed in Florida, I started over.
I began working with plant-based detoxification, hydration, and parasite-cleansing protocols while coaching within that space. I joined a men’s group and found community again. Around the same time, I came across a 15-minute Human Garage Stress Reset video on YouTube.
I started doing one video a day.
That simple practice became something much bigger. Alongside detoxification, hydration, nourishment, and community, fascial work began helping my system regulate and come back online. My digestion changed. My body changed. My emotional state changed. I started feeling present again.
For the first time, I wasn’t looking for one thing to fix me. I was beginning to understand how all of these systems worked together.
In January 2025, I began studying Neurosomatic Therapy at the Center for Neurosomatic Studies, followed by the Human Garage Coaching Program that March. Since then, I’ve continued weaving together Applied Functional Neurology, structural bodywork, fascial work, movement, hydration, and the plant-based practices that helped me rebuild.
What I share with people today grew out of that experience.
Not a single technique that saved me, but a process of learning how to listen to the body, reduce stress, create the conditions for regulation, and give the system enough support to begin doing what it already knows how to do.
How I Work
Your body already knows how to heal.
Most people I work with have already tried the obvious things. The work is less about adding something new and more about getting the signal through.

A safe place to land
You can bring the real thing here. Nothing gets rushed and nothing gets forced.

What I Believe
What I have come to believe.
Thirteen years in, and a long way out of my own hole. These are the ones that held up.
01
Pain is a signal, not a verdict
First a whisper. Then a nudge. Then discomfort. Then pain. The work is learning to listen before the whisper becomes a scream.
02
The body feels safety before it thinks it
We are trained to look for safety. Your nervous system needs to feel it, and it will not let go of anything until it does.
03
Bodywork is one part of it
Most of the change happens in sensory integration, in the loop between what your body sends up and how your brain reads it.
04
Your body is built to heal
It has been doing it your whole life without asking you. I am here to hold space, reflect truth, and help you reconnect to your own healing power.
Watch
The work that gave me myself back.
This short film goes inside the Human Garage coach training where I practice, teach, and keep learning. My own story is in there too: a concussion, the maneuvers that helped me feel again, and the community that turned healing into a calling.
Training
The training behind the work.
Thirteen years across applied neurology, manual therapy and fascial work, including VM1 visceral fascial manipulation.
